Question: Where did the idea for Massage Addict come from?

Answer: A few years ago Massage Addict Founder, Lori MacKenzie starting getting Massage Therapy treatments for an ongoing back problem. Going once or twice a month for a Massage became quite expensive. That lead her to question if the therapist could afford to charge her less since she was getting treatments so often.

Question: Is that what lead to the creation of Massage Addict?

Answer: Exactly. We saw the need to make massage therapy affordable and available when people really want it.  We offer same day or next day bookings.

Question: What makes Massage Addict unique?

Answer: Our clients tell us it's because they can book when they want.    Our clinics are open extended hours, evenings and weekends and we have hundreds of appointments with Registered Massage Therapists each week.  We make it convenient by having a one of a kind online booking system.

Question: How do Massage Addict Franchises work?

Answer: It's very simple.   We work with potential franchisees all the way through the process.  That includes finding a location, setting up the business, hiring, clinic design, accounting and booking systems and we're there to help when the clinic opens.  We offer extensive training, support and feedback all along the way.  

Question: How much does a franchise cost?

Answer: This is one of the most affordable health care franchises on the Market.   It depends on your location, but on average,  the cost ranges from 125 to 175 thousand dollars and that includes your initial 39 thousand dollar franchise fee.

Question: Do I need to be a massage therapist?

Answer: No, not all.  Our clinic owners are people who want to own their own businesses and work for themselves. You need to have an entrepreneurial  spirit and knowledge of your local community.   

Question: Do I need to work in the clinic?

Answer: Good question.  At first we think it's important to get to know your business.   The clinics run best when they are owner operated.  If you are interested in multiple units that works too, but with a dedicated manager to assist you in the day to day running of the clinic.

Question: How do you staff the clinics?

Answer: We'll help you set up a plan for recruiting and hiring RMTs as sub-contractors.   In our model the therapists get paid per treatment.   The front desk reception team are the only staff you'll need to hire.

Question: Is there anything else that makes a Massage Addict Franchise something I should consider?
